"Our mind dey" - Jonni Maks, Chilling, King Bello |
CAPE COAST, Ghana – Three student artists from Ghana's University of Cape Coast (UCC) have released their debut single, marking their official entry into the music scene after gaining traction locally.
Jonni Maks, Chilling, and King Bello collaborated on the track "Our Mind Dey," an Afrobeat song produced by Legend Rhaqesh. The release comes after the trio received an endorsement from prominent Ghanaian blogger GentleTheBlogger, who subsequently signed them to his GTB Music label.
The artists reportedly first gained recognition following a performance at a talent event organized by their university residence, Casely Hayford Hall (Casford), during the 2020/2021 academic year. The song itself is described as a tribute to the supportive environment of Casford Hall, a well-known hall at UCC.
"Our Mind Dey" is now available on digital streaming and download platforms.
