Contemporary Christian singer-songwriter Stephen Stanley has released his debut, self-titled EP, "Stephen Stanley," making it available for streaming and downloading across major digital music platforms, according to details accompanying the release. The EP is distributed via Capitol Christian Music Group (CCMG).
The Georgia-based artist presents his first collection of songs under the CCMG label. The release includes the track "Oasis," which is accompanied by an official music video available for viewing on various platforms.
Stanley's entry into music followed a childhood accident at age nine which resulted in the loss of hearing in one ear. Biographical information states he subsequently learned to play using his mother's guitar and spent the following decade developing his musical style.
His work led to a signing with Capitol Christian Music Group in 2020. Shortly after joining the label, Stanley released his debut single, "No Hopeless Soul."
Reflecting on the signing at the time, CCMG Co-President Hudson Plachy stated, "Stephen's talent is undeniable, and his story is compelling. We're eager for the world to experience the unique spirit he brings to the music industry."
The "Stephen Stanley" EP marks the artist's first extended play release since partnering with the major Christian music label.
